His research also includes nitrogen metabolism, micronutrient physiology, inhibition of nitrification, and nutrient-disease interactions.

Robyn O'Brien

A former financial and food industry analyst Robyn O'Brien triggered an allergic reaction in the food industry when she asked: "Are we allergic to food or what's been done to it?"

She has helped to lead a food awakening among consumers, corporations and politicians. Food companies responding to Robyn's work include Kraft, Coca Cola, Burger King, Chipotle, Nestle, Target and others. She sheds light on how the changing landscape of food and health are impacting the food industry and our economy.

She leads a "for purpose" non profit and is a best-selling author, public speaker, strategist and mother of four. She brings insight and detailed analysis to her research on the health of the American food system as documented in her first book, The Unhealthy Truth, and has been called "food's Erin Brockovich" by Bloomberg and the New York Times.

Her work has appeared on CNN, the Today Show, Good Morning America, FOX News, in the Washington Post and countless media outlets, and she currently writes a popular column for Prevention while serving as the Executive Director of the AllergyKids Foundation and doing strategic advisory work for companies making trend-setting changes in the food industry.

Robyn has been named by SHAPE Magazine as a “Women To Shape the World”, along with First Lady Michelle Obama, by Forbes Woman as one of “20 Inspiring Women to Follow on Twitter,”and by The Discovery Channel as one of its 15 Top Visionaries. Her TEDx talks have been widely received.

Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Caen, France, Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Professor Seralini was one of the very first to demand a European commercial moratorium on agricultural GMOs for further research. Appointed member of two governmental commissions on GMOs (the Biomolecular Engineering Commission (CGB) in charge of risk assessment, and the Biovigilance Committee assessing GMOs after they have been commercialized) in 1998. President of the CRII-GEN Scientific Board (Committee of Independent Research and Information on Genetic Engineering) since 1999. Was appointed in 2003 as an expert for the European Commission to prepare the defense case in the dispute between the United-States/Argentina/Canada (who produce 95% of the GMO’s) and the European Union about the moratorium on commercial GMO. Professor Seralini published in November 2003 "Génétiquement incorrect" Flammarion and in 2004 "Ces OGM qui changent le monde", (Collection Champs, Flammarion) and recentily "Après-nous le déluge ?" (Flammarion/Fayard). He wrote over 100 scientific articles and conference papers for international specialist symposiums, and a number of lectures with a nation-wide impact, he assumes several roles in the Commissions of the University of Caen, where he is leading a research team associated to CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research) and INRA.

Jeffrey M. Smith

Jeff Smith is the international bestselling author of Seeds of Deception and Genetic Roulette, and the leading spokesperson on the health dangers of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). He documents how the world’s most powerful ag-biotech companies bluff and mislead critics and put the health of society at risk. A riveting keynote speaker and popular guest on TV shows worldwide, Mr. Smith has counseled world leaders from every continent, campaigned to end the use of genetically engineered bovine growth hormone (rbGH or rbST), and influenced the first state laws in the United States regulating GMOs.

Zen Honeycutt

Zen Honeycutt has three boys with allergies and autism symptoms which greatly improved when they went GMO Free and organic. Inspired by her children, she created Moms Across America, a National Coalition of Unstoppable Moms, with the motto "Empowered Moms, Healthy Kids." With 310 leaders who have created over 400 events in the past 18 months in 44 states, Moms Across America empowers and amplifys the voice of the mom locally and nationally. Zen has been seen on CNN, the Dr.Oz show,CSPAN, in the news in Rueter's,, Fox News and hundreds more media outlets. She has been a speaker at the International GMO conference in Beijing, China, the Heirloom Expo, Health and Freedom Expo, Commonwealth Club and others. Zen is also a leadership coach and consultant.

Michael Antoniou, PhD

Dept of Medical and Molecular Genetics Kings College School of Medicine, London, author of “GMO Myths and Truths” is reader in molecular genetics and head of Gene Expression and Therapy Group, King’s College London School of Medicine, London, UK. He has 28 years’ experience in the use of genetic engineering technology investigating gene organization and control, with over 40 peer reviewed publications of original work, and holds inventor status on a number of gene expression biotechnology patents. Dr Antoniou has a large network of collaborators in industry and academia who are making use of his discoveries in gene control mechanisms for the production of research, diagnostic and therapeutic products and safe and efficacious human somatic gene therapy for inherited and acquired genetic disorders.

Dave Murphy

Founder and executive director of Food Democracy Now! a grassroots movement of more than 650,000 American farmers and citizens dedicated to reforming policies relating to food, agriculture and the environment. Murphy has been called “the most crucial and politically savvy actor in the on-going efforts to help move American agriculture into the 21st century” as a result of his “Sustainable Dozen” campaign, which resulted in four candidates being placed in high level positions at the USDA and his efforts to reform food and agriculture under the Obama administration.

Jill Carnahan, MD

Dr. Carnahan is also 12-year survivor of breast cancer and Crohn’s disease and passionate about teaching patients how to “live well” and thrive in the midst of complex and chronic illness. She is also committed to teaching other physicians how to address underlying cause of illness rather than just treating symptoms through the principles of functional medicine. She is a prolific writer, speaker, and loves to infuse others with her passion for health and healing!

Steven M. Druker, J.D.

Steven Druker is a public interest attorney who initiated a lawsuit against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration that forced it to divulge its files on genetically engineered foods. This revealed that politically appointed administrators had covered up the extensive warnings of their own scientists about the unusual risks of these foods, lied about the facts, and then ushered these products onto the market in violation of explicit mandates of federal food safety law. In organizing the suit, he founded the Alliance for Bio-Integrity and assembled an unprecedented coalition of eminent scientists and religious leaders to stand with it as co-plaintiffs – the first time scientists had sued a federal administrative agency on the grounds that one of its policies is scientifically unsound.

He is a prominent commentator on GE foods and has served on the food safety panels at government conferences, lectured at numerous universities (including the Biological Laboratories at Harvard), met with government officials throughout the world, and conferred at the White House Executive Offices with a task force of the President’s Council on Environmental Quality.

His new book, Altered Genes Twisted Truth: How the Venture to Genetically Engineer Our Food Has Subverted Science, Corrupted Government, and Systematically Deceived the Public, is being released this October with a foreword by Jane Goodall hailing it as “without doubt one of the most important books of the last 50 years.”
